About us
International Istiqama Muslim Charitable Association
The International Istiqama Muslim Charitable Association was founded in 1416 AH (1995 CE) in the Sultanate of Oman, delivering voluntary services across East Africa. A non-political international Islamic charity that aligns with nothing but Islam and honest charitable work, it gives without obligation or harm and calls people in the best of ways. Thanks to the support of its donors, many of the association's educational and outreach institutions now carry out their mission across several countries — especially among the Omani diaspora in Africa.
Our vision
Transforming poor communities from dependency to self-sustaining development.
Our mission
Providing an integrated educational, service and knowledge environment — building communities that meet their knowledge needs alongside their material needs, and moving them from need to production, from dependence to independence, and from asking to self-sufficiency.
