Our projects

Your contribution today is more than just a donation. It is a step toward completing two schools dedicated to teaching the Holy Qur’an and providing a supportive learning environment for children in Africa to learn, memorize, and grow with the Book of Allah. Jabir bin Zaid School and Abu Ubaidah School have reached their final stages. With your support, we are closer to completing the construction and opening their doors to students. Contribute 10 OMR, or any amount you can, and become a partner in building a place where the Qur’an will be recited and taught for generations to come. 10 OMR from you… can help open a school for the Qur’an. International Istiqama Muslim Charitable Association An ongoing charity whose impact continues, and knowledge whose benefit remains.

Many children in East African communities struggle to access education due to financial hardship, depriving them of the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams. The “Educate a Child” project aims to sponsor children in need, helping them continue their education and giving them the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their communities. Your contribution does more than provide a child with an education—it plants hope and opens the door to a brighter future. Support the “Educate a Child” project… because the transformation of an entire community can begin with the opportunity you give one child to learn.

One of the most meaningful gifts you can offer yourself or someone you love is a contribution to a charitable endowment (Waqf)—an ongoing charity whose impact continues and whose reward, by the will of Allah, extends throughout life and beyond. Through the Istiqama Waqf for Charitable and Operational Activities, you can become a partner in creating a sustainable impact that supports the Charity’s mission, ensures the continuity of its projects, and extends their benefits to those most in need. The Waqf supports a wide range of initiatives, including Qur’an schools, formal schools, student and teacher sponsorships, educational development, as well as the Charity’s various humanitarian and operational activities. Contribute to the Istiqama Waqf and create a lasting legacy of goodness for yourself or someone you love—an act of giving whose benefit and reward continue, by the will of Allah.

Zakat is a profound act of worship that brings together spiritual purification, blessings in wealth, and social solidarity. It is not merely money that is given; it is a message of compassion and generosity that allows one’s blessings to extend beyond oneself and reach those in need. Allah Almighty…

Zakat Al-Fitr is a meaningful act of worship that reflects the values of compassion, solidarity, and bringing joy to those in need during Eid. It is obligatory upon every Muslim who has sufficient means beyond their essential needs and enough provision for themselves and those they are responsible for on the day and night of Eid. It is also given on behalf of one’s wife and young children who have no wealth of their own and whose financial support is their responsibility. At Istiqama Global Islamic Charity, we work to deliver your Zakat Al-Fitr to some of the most vulnerable families and individuals across East Africa, helping them meet their essential needs and experience the joy and dignity of Eid. Through your Zakat Al-Fitr, we reach those most in need and share the joy of Eid with compassion, dignity, and care.

The Teachers’ Waqf Project aims to support education across Africa by providing sustainable assistance to teachers, many of whom are of Omani origin, in recognition of their vital role in educating future generations and building stronger communities. The Waqf also contributes to the continuity of educational programs and related services, based on the belief that education is the foundation of sustainable development and social progress. Contribute to the Teachers’ Waqf and become a partner in educating generations, building a brighter future, and creating an ongoing charity whose impact continues, by the will of Allah.

The “Sponsor a Teacher” project aims to support teachers across Africa, enabling them to continue their vital mission of educating children and nurturing generations capable of contributing to the development of their communities. By sponsoring a teacher, you are not only supporting one individual—you are helping bring education to dozens of children and opening doors to a brighter future. Your generosity creates a lasting impact that extends from teacher to student and from one generation to the next, becoming, by the will of Allah, a form of beneficial knowledge and ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). Sponsor a teacher… Your giving keeps education going, and through education, the future changes.
