Uganda represents an important part of Istiqama Global Islamic Charity’s humanitarian and development journey in East Africa. The Association implements a range of educational, healthcare, and social initiatives aimed at empowering people and improving their quality of life. Istiqama University in Uganda stands out as one of its ambitious educational projects, alongside support for students, educational institutions, training, and capacity-building programs.
In the healthcare sector, the Association supports medical initiatives and treatment campaigns for vulnerable communities, in addition to drilling wells, sponsoring orphans, and providing food and seasonal assistance. Through these integrated efforts, Istiqama Global seeks to move beyond short-term aid toward sustainable development and stronger, self-reliant communities.
UgandaThrough the Islamic Centre Project in Uganda, we aim to establish an integrated centre that serves the Muslim community and provides a supportive environment for new Muslims to learn the principles and teachings of Islam, while offering educational and outreach programs led by qualified teachers and Islamic educators. The project aims to complete 540 shares, with each share valued at 100 Omani Rials.
