In Burundi, Istiqama builds schools that carry knowledge to new communities.
Istiqama Global Islamic Charity continues its humanitarian and development efforts in Burundi, guided by its mission to serve people and empower vulnerable communities across East Africa. Its initiatives include supporting education and students, sponsoring orphans, drilling wells and providing clean water, building mosques and educational facilities, and delivering food and humanitarian assistance to families in need.
The Association also prioritizes sustainable projects that strengthen local communities and improve living conditions, creating an impact that extends beyond short-term aid. Through its field presence and local partnerships, Istiqama Global strives to reach those most in need and promote a charitable model that combines relief, development, and education to create lasting positive change in the lives of individuals and communities.

Join us in completing the construction of a school in Rumonge Province, Burundi, providing a safe and supportive learning environment for orphans and children from families in need, and giving them the opportunity to learn and build a brighter future. You can support this project as an ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) by contributing one or more shares. Each share costs 100 Omani Rials, and our goal is to complete 630 shares to finish the school and prepare it to welcome its students. Contribute a share—be part of building a school, educating a child, and shaping the future of an entire generation in Burundi.
