Zakat Alfitr
Zakat Al-Fitr is a meaningful act of worship that reflects the values of compassion, solidarity, and bringing joy to those in need during Eid. It is obligatory upon every Muslim who has sufficient means beyond their essential needs and enough provision for themselves and those they are responsible for on the day and night of Eid. It is also given on behalf of one’s wife and young children who have no wealth of their own and whose financial support is their responsibility.
