Al Istiqama International participates in the activities of "The Omanis: Messengers of Peace" forum

The International Istiqama Muslim Charitable Association participated in the activities of “The Omanis: Messengers of Peace” forum, which was held at the historical Bahla Fort in the Governorate of Bahla, amid the presence of distinguished academics and researchers. The forum, which aims to shed light on Oman’s historical and civilizational role in spreading peace and human values, focused on highlighting the cultural and religious ties that have brought Oman together with East African countries throughout the ages.

During the forum, Al Istiqama Association exhibited their efforts in promoting cultural cohesion between Oman and East Africa, through its charitable programs and initiatives which focus on supporting education, spreading religious awareness, and promoting peaceful coexistence in the region. In their interactions, the Association also stressed the importance of highlighting the ancient Omani Heritage that extended to East Africa, where Oman played a significant role in spreading Islam and promoting the values of peace.

On their part, the attendees praised the role of the Association in implementing successful humanitarian and developmental projects in East African countries, stressing that these efforts reflect the noble principles in which Oman is rooted since ancient times.

At the end of the forum, the participants thanked Al Istiqama Association and the organizers for highlighting this bright side of Oman's history, calling for the continuation of such initiatives that strengthen cultural and civilizational ties between peoples.
