The "Miraj Al-Mu'minin" (Ascension of the Believer) course to teach prayer launched in Bugiri - Uganda

By the grace and success of Allah, the "Miraj Al-Mu'minin" (Ascension of the Believers) course to teach prayer was launched on Saturday morning, 12 April 2025, in Bugiri district in the Republic of Uganda, jointly organised by the Basha'ir Foundation and Wafa'a Al-Khair team (Do Good Team), under the auspices of the International Istiqama Association and under the direct supervision of Sheikh Suleiman Al-Shaqasi, the representative of the Omani community in Bugiri.
The course, which runs until 20 April 2025, aims to consolidate the jurisprudence of prayer in the hearts of the participants, linking it to the truth of the Almighty Creator, righteousness, good manners, the need for repentance and remembrance, as well as addressing the impact of media and bad company in the life of a Muslim.
The course includes a variety of programmes from dawn to night, distributed between doctrine lessons, jurisprudence seminars, sessions on the jurisprudence of repentance and righteousness, dialogue meetings on reality and awareness building, and time dedicated to sports and constructive entertainment.
A specialised team fluent in both Arabic and Swahili has been prepared to guide the students and accompany them in every ablution and prayer, and the programme concludes with the awarding of certificates to the supervisors and participants.
