Meeting of the CEO of the Association with the Omani Professor Abdul Ghafour bin Humaid bin Saleh in Kenya

The CEO, Dr. Saleh bin Sulaiman Al-Zahimi, met with Professor Abdul Ghafour bin Humaid bin Saleh Al Busaidi, who is one of the Omani scientific and academic figures in Kenya. Professor Abdul Ghafour had a major role in the scientific and academic movement during the past 60 years, especially in linking the scientific aspect to the Holy Qur’an. The meeting enriched discussions on the Omani presence in Kenya and Omani antiquities in the Lamu, Malindi, Mombasa and Batt archipelagos.

These meetings come within the initiative of the International Istiqama Association for oral documentation of the Omani and cultural presence in East Africa.
