Algeria's Sabili Charitable Foundation Visits Istiqama Global

Istiqama Association received His Excellency Muhammad Abu Ibrahim, director of Algeria's Sabili Charitable Foundation, on an official visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and coordinating efforts across a number of educational and dawah projects in East Africa.
During the meeting, a draft plan for establishing the Sharia institute in the city of Jinja, Uganda, was reviewed, and the project's academic and administrative vision was discussed, in a way that helps qualify Sharia cadres and serve local communities.
A proposed human resources plan for the project was also presented, to ensure the right talent is attracted and to put in place an organizational structure that supports sustainability and institutional excellence.
The meeting likewise addressed a proposed cooperation plan for organizing dawah delegations to the various regions where Istiqama operates in East Africa, strengthening the presence of educational and dawah programs in the targeted communities.
As part of supporting education and spreading the Arabic language, a plan was discussed to distribute the "I Love Arabic" curriculum in Swahili-speaking regions, with implementation to begin through the branches of Istiqama and Sabili, paving the way for expansion into other areas.
This visit comes within the context of strengthening strategic partnerships and enhancing collaboration in serving education, dawah, and community development in East Africa.
