Al-Istiqama Strategic visit to Rwanda: Education, a Gateway to Change

As part of its relentless endeavour to expand its developmental and educational impact in the East African region, the executive team of International Istiqama Muslim Charitable Association carried out a field visit to the Republic of Rwanda, with the aim of studying community investment opportunities in the education sector, and opening new horizons to establish pioneering educational institutions that serve future generations.
The visit included fruitful meetings with a number of government officials, educational leaders, and Muslim community associations in the capital Kigali, where they discussed ways of cooperation to establish international schools and vocational training institutes that meet the local community's growing need for high-quality education, combining modernity and Islamic authenticity.
The tour also included field visits to proposed sites for educational projects, including a project to establish Istiqama International School, a training and rehabilitation institute, as well as an educational conference centre, in order to enhance the knowledge infrastructure in Rwanda and serve local communities.
This step confirms the Society's vision to support the shift from need to production through sustainable educational projects that cultivate awareness, promote belonging, and contribute to building a balanced generation capable of serving its nation.
