Istiqama Global delegation visits Zanzibar to review its educational and charitable projects

A delegation from the International Istiqama Muslim Charitable Association made a field visit to Zanzibar to review the progress of the educational and charitable projects the association runs there.

The visit covered a number of the association’s schools and Quranic institutes, where the delegation met with the teaching and administrative staff, reviewed the educational programs and activities offered to students, and followed up on the institutions’ needs and ways to develop them.

During the visit, the delegation also discussed plans to expand the educational and development projects — foremost among them the Istiqama Educational City project and the Istiqama University project in Zanzibar — to strengthen educational opportunities and build the capacity of young people in the region.
