Zakat al-Mal (Wealth Zakat)
Zakat is a profound act of worship that brings together spiritual purification, blessings in wealth, and social solidarity. It is not merely money that is given; it is a message of compassion and generosity that allows one’s blessings to extend beyond oneself and reach those in need. Allah Almighty…

Zakat Alfitr
Zakat Al-Fitr is a meaningful act of worship that reflects the values of compassion, solidarity, and bringing joy to those in need during Eid. It is obligatory upon every Muslim who has sufficient means beyond their essential needs and enough provision for themselves and those they are responsible for on the day and night of Eid. It is also given on behalf of one’s wife and young children who have no wealth of their own and whose financial support is their responsibility. At Istiqama Global Islamic Charity, we work to deliver your Zakat Al-Fitr to some of the most vulnerable families and individuals across East Africa, helping them meet their essential needs and experience the joy and dignity of Eid. Through your Zakat Al-Fitr, we reach those most in need and share the joy of Eid with compassion, dignity, and care.

Teachers' Endowment
The Teachers’ Waqf Project aims to support education across Africa by providing sustainable assistance to teachers, many of whom are of Omani origin, in recognition of their vital role in educating future generations and building stronger communities. The Waqf also contributes to the continuity of educational programs and related services, based on the belief that education is the foundation of sustainable development and social progress. Contribute to the Teachers’ Waqf and become a partner in educating generations, building a brighter future, and creating an ongoing charity whose impact continues, by the will of Allah.

Buying Copies of Qurʼān
New Muslims in many African communities need copies of the Holy Qur’an to learn, read, and deepen their understanding of the Book of Allah. However, a shortage of Qur’an copies prevents many of them from having this opportunity. Through the Qur’an Distribution Project, we aim to provide copies of the Holy Qur’an for mosques that are being built or renovated, as well as distribute them to Muslims in communities most in need. Each copy costs just 1 Omani Rial, making your contribution an opportunity to spread and teach the Book of Allah and a form of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) whose impact continues with every recitation and every lesson learned. With just 1 Omani Rial… help place the Qur’an in the hands of someone waiting to learn it.

Food Basket
Many families across East Africa face difficult living conditions that make meeting their basic food needs a daily challenge. Through the Food Basket Project, we aim to stand by these families and help provide them with essential food supplies while preserving their dignity. Each basket contains essential food items such as rice, sugar, pasta, cooking oil, and other basic necessities, at a cost of 25 Omani Rials per basket. By contributing to the Food Basket Project, you are not only providing food—you are giving a family in need a sense of security and helping ease the burden of daily life.

Providing Breakfast for the Fasting Person
The blessed month of Ramadan is a season of mercy, generosity, and compassion, and one of its beautiful acts of giving is providing Iftar for those who are fasting and sharing the blessings of this holy month with those in need. Through our Iftar for the Fasting Project, we provide nutritious meals to fasting individuals and families in need across Africa, where many communities face poverty and struggle to meet their basic needs. Your contribution can provide Iftar for a fasting person, bring joy to someone in need, and share the blessings of Ramadan with those who need them most. Support our Iftar Project… and let your Ramadan generosity reach the table of a family in need.

Eid Animal Sacrifice
Make this Eid/Feast different by slaughtering your sacrifice in African communities instead of your own. Or slaughter Aqīqa (animal sacrifice for newborn baby) of your children there so that many impoverished families can enjoy it, by doing so, you contribute to strengthening the spirit of love and cooperation among Muslims. The cost of the Udhiya/ animal sacrifice is about 40 Omani Riyals, you can donate now with us to slaughter your animal sacrifice or Aqīqa and distribute its meat to the needy families in African countries.
